The Fowler Family Foundation loves the sweet taste of success, and supporting worthwhile causes equals success. That's why being a sponsor of the Austin Bar Foundation Gala was a no-brainer. Fowler Law attorney and Austin Bar Foundation member Diane Byrnes, and others, were able to indulge in some tasty dessert treats at the Foundation Gala recently to celebrate their many accomplishments.
The charitable arm of the Austin Bar Association, the Foundation was established in 2003 to support and expand the provision of legal-related charitable and educational programs and services in Central Texas. Through generous donations raised through the Foundation's Fellows programs and the annual Austin Bar Foundation Gala, the Foundation supports legal services to low-income Texans, legal educational programs, and assistance to lawyers in need.
The Austin Bar Foundation and its members give back so much to our community. Specific programs under its purview include the Veterans Assistance Program, the Self-Represented Litigant Project at Travis County Law Library & Self-Help Center, Austin Adoption Day, the CANLAW Clinic, the Justice Mack Kidd Fund, the Diversity Fellowship Program, and the LGBT Law Student Scholorship.
