With more than twenty-five years’ experience as a licensed Texas attorney, all of that time representing clients in the civil courts of Texas, Mr. Kitchen’s unique abilities include speaking fluent Spanish, as a native Peruvian, and representing unique and iconic local families and business owners in the Central Texas area for almost twenty years. Mr. Kitchen’s proudly admits this is where is heart is.

 

John’s vigorous, successful representation of individuals and owners in the Texas courts and his impressive level of success in many areas of law including business, real estate, collections, and probate litigation, is easy to understand because of his love for his work and his clients.

 

Admitted to the Texas Supreme Court in 1996, and to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas in 2004, Mr. Kitchens earned an LLM from the University of Texas in 2002, a degree in law from the University of Texas in 1996, and an undergraduate degree in history from Duke University in 1992. A generous contributor to our community, Mr. Kitchen’s only real flaw seems to be to want to decorate his offices with a strange combination of burnt orange and navy ‘Duke’ blue.

 

In his spare time, Mr. Kitchens is the proud stepparent of two teenagers and two dogs and enjoys cooking, reading, and the great outdoors.
